Currently, I am a postdoctoral research fellow at the Biomedical Information Processing Lab, École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS), and as a research assistant at the Clinical Decision Support System Lab, Research Center of the Sainte-Justine Hospital (CHU Sainte-Justine).

Previously, during my Ph.D., I was a research assistant at the Biomedical Information Processing Lab, ÉTS under the mentorship of Prof. Rita Noumier and Prof. Philippe Jouvet. Between 2016 and 2018, I was a research assistant at NECPHY-LAB, Institut national de la recherche scientifique (INRS). Under the guidance of Prof. Long Le, I began exploring the cutting-edge domain of Machine Learning. Prior to that, from 2013 to 2015, I pursued my Master's in Electrical Engineering under the supervision of Prof. Ho-Min Kim at the Department of Electrical Engineering, Jeju National University.

Research Interests

Applied machine learning approaches for critical decision-making systems, enhancing model's interpretability with semantic feature extraction and mutual information techniques, tailored for heterogeneous and sparse datasets under limited label availability.
